HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Registry Key |
- Description
of HKEY_CURRENT_USER Registry Subkeys
The information in this
key is built from the HKEY_USERS key during the logon
process. Therefore, all information found in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER
key is a copy of the subkey HKEY_USERS\username, where
username is the name of the active user (or
.DEFAULT). AppEvents,

HKEY_C_U\Network
On a network system, if a network drive or folder is
mapped to a local drive letter, a record of that connection appears
under one or both of the 2 subkeys (persistent and recent).
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Network\persistent
If a checkmark is
placed in the Reconnect at Logon box when the network drive or folder is
mapped to a local drive letter, then this key leads to a subkey whose
label is that driver letter.
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Network\recent
The same information is
also stored under this subkey, but the format is slightly
different. |
